Ultrasound for Cellulite Reduction
Ultrasound technology temporarily, yet effectively, reduces the appearance of cellulite, temporarily increases circulation, relieves minor muscle aches and pains, and also relaxes muscle spasms. The ultrasound is a comprehensive, non-surgical approach to cellulite concerns, and has been used in Europe since 1999.
Ultrasound is applied to gently warm the underlying layers of the epidermis and dermis, preparing the tissue for the benefits of vacuum suction massage. Ultrasound can be pulsed continuously or intermittently. Vacuum Suction mobilizes the warmed connective tissue and temporarily improves blood circulation.
For the best results, approximately 8-12 treatments are recommended, one to two times per week. Follow-up treatments may be recommended every 6-8 weeks. While some patients can see results after only one session, a series is recommended for best results.
